- 03Shop drawingsThe design package drawn to build from, with the electrical, mechanical, security and telecommunications work developed as one coherent set instead of four.
- 04RFPA tender document specific enough that the bids you get back can be compared against each other on something other than price.
- 05BuildConstruction, the power path, heat rejection, detection and suppression, then racks, containment and pre-terminated cabling. One accountable contract from site selection to the last patch lead.
- 06CommissioningFormal testing under load, so the redundancy on the drawing is demonstrated in the room rather than assumed.
- 07HandoverAs-built drawings, standard operating procedures, methods of procedure, and the risk mitigation manual, written for the people who will use them at three in the morning.
- 08MaintenanceRound-the-clock cover from a team based locally, with spares already on the shelf and escalation to specialists rather than to a queue.
