Cooling
Aisle Containment
Door and roof systems that separate hot and cold air, raising the efficiency of the cooling plant already installed.
Aisle containment is a combination of door and roof components that keeps hot and cold air apart in the data hall. That separation is the single cheapest lever on cooling efficiency, because mixed air forces the plant to overcool the whole room to protect the hottest intake in it.
Depending on the application it can be deployed as hot aisle or cold aisle containment, and it works with CRAC systems or with in-row chilled water and DX units.
It retrofits into a running hall and is compatible with existing enclosure systems, so it does not require replacing what is already installed.
- Higher energy efficiency and greater performance capability from the existing climate control plant
- Superior output density, supported by a guaranteed cold air supply
- Installs and retrofits easily, compatible with all enclosure systems
- An inexpensive way to raise the performance of an existing plant
